FX Nameserver Outage:

15/05/2023 10:00am:
We are curently experiencing an outage impacting domain DNS zone files built on ns1.fx.net.nz and ns2.fx.net.nz. DNS zones on these nameservers are currently not propagating.

This issue has been identified as high load on Maxnet and FX DNS infrastructure. Efforts to Distribute Load Has failed and we are now working on migrating to a more scalable solution.

11:00am:
Customer zones have been moved to the scalable solution for primary DNS and are now propagating. More work to ensure further resilience is ongoing for the secondary

Network Maintenance and Fault Restoration:

• Network Operations Centre (NOC) is operating in a BAU state and is monitoring all activities closely during this period.
• Standard network fault escalation process applies through your normal business unit faulting paths.
